Product Description
The Hayward TC Series True Union Ball Check Valves offer versatile and reliable backflow prevention for critical flow control applications. Available in PVC (1/4" - 6"), CPVC (1/2" - 6"), and PP (1/2" - 2") , these valves are NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 Certified and can be installed horizontally or vertically. Featuring a square cut seat for positive sealing and seating with minimum back pressure, the larger sizes (1/2" to 6") utilize a Sure Block design, while smaller sizes (1/4" and 3/8") feature a Trim Check design. With pressure ratings up to 235 PSI at 70°F (16 Bar at 21°C) non-shock depending on material and size, and options for Socket, Threaded, or Flanged end connections, the TC Series ensures efficient and secure operation in diverse industrial systems. Foot valve screens are also available as an added option.

All thermoplastic ball check valves shall be manufactured with PVC Type 1, Grade 1 (ASTM
D1784, Cell Classification 12454), CPVC (ASTM D1784, Cell Classification 23447), or
Polypropylene (ASTM D4101, Cell Classification 85580). All O-rings shall be EPDM or FPM.
Primary seat shall be square-cut design to ensure proper ball seating. All sizes of ball check
valves shall be of true union design. All 1/2" – 6" ball check valves shall be pressure-rated
for 150 PSI at 70°F non-shock, including ANSI 150 lb flanged ball check valves.
All PVC and CPVC ball check valves (1/2" – 4") shall be NSF 61 certified. All Thermoplastic Ball
Check Valves shall carry a three-year global warranty, shall be manufactured by Hayward®
Flow Control and in the USA.
